Atom DTU NBIoT2

SKU:K059-B

Description

ATOM DTU NB2 is a programmable wireless data transmission unit (DTU) suitable for global Cat-NB bands, specifically designed for NB-IoT applications. It features an integrated SIM7028 communication module and utilizes serial communication (controlled via AT command set). The unit includes an SMA external antenna interface, significantly enhancing communication quality and signal stability. The SIM7028 module supports most Cat-NB bands, ensuring broad applicability worldwide. Unlike typical DTUs that only provide data transmission functionality, the ATOM DTU series adopts a more open architecture. The controller, ATOMS3 LITE, allows for program modifications based on actual business needs. The unit reserves various interfaces (RS485, I2C, custom interfaces) for user expansion, facilitating quick integration of sensors and actuators. It also comes with a rail mounting structure, making it ideal for embedding in various industrial control environments. ATOM DTU NB2 is perfect for low-latency, low-throughput application scenarios such as remote control, asset tracking, remote monitoring, telemedicine, and shared bicycles.

Difference Overview
The main differences between SIM7028 and SIM7020G lie in band support and data transmission rate. The SIM7028 supports more bands and slightly higher data transmission rates, making it suitable for more markets and higher bandwidth requirements. The SIM7020G, although supporting fewer bands, still covers most markets and is suitable for general IoT applications. Both have similar network protocols and features, along with extensive international and carrier certifications.
